California Quail

Just like Noah saved the animal species in his ark, this project will try to rescue and portray the creatures surrounding us today, through the eyes of the most important designers, illustrators and contemporary designers. The idea is to generate an animal bible showing the species around the globe.

A collaboration between DGPH and IdN, The Anime Bible features the work of 200 plus illustrators from around the world illustrating animals from their respected continents.

I was given the California quail and had almost too much fun making this image. I would even say that its a personal Favorite of mine. The book should be out for the rest of the world later this year, for now enjoy this small image of it and checkout the projects site with full artist listing.
